The centre painted with a loose bouquet, flower-sprays, scattered flowers, a large butterfly and an insect, the border painted in the manner of Jefferyes Hammett O'Neale with fable scenes within foliage-moulded cartouches enriched in puce divided by panels of moulded diaper-pattern, within a shaped chocolate-brown line rim, the underside with scattered foliage (slight misfiring blemishes to rim), faint iron-red anchor mark
