A WORCESTER FLUTED BLUE-GROUND PART DESSERT-SERVICE
Circa 1775

The centres reserved and painted with a bouquet of radiating flowers within gilt cartouches of wave and elaborate interlocking C-scroll ornament on dark-blue grounds, with waved gilt dentil rims, comprising:
A cruciform-moulded shaped square dish
Four shaped oval dishes
Four shell-shaped dishes
Four deep plates (one repaired), 9 1/4in. (23.5cm.) diam.
Twenty deep plates (three with rim chips, one with piece lacking from rim, one repaired), 8 1/4in. (21cm.) diam.
(very slight rubbing to gilding), blue crescent marks, one shaped oval dish and five small plates with blue square seal marks
