Details
A WALLENDORF FIGURE OF A SCULPTOR
Circa 1790

Perhaps modelled by Johann Heinrich Haag, his peruque with large black bow, in pale-pink frock-coat, iron-red shirt, yellow waistcoat and breeches and black shoes, standing holding a scantily draped statue of Venus before a rectangular pedestal on a square base applied with a mallet and chisel (damage to statue, implement lacking from his right hand)
5 5/8in. (14.5cm.) high
