Elephant folio (710 x 515mm.), title printed in blue with hand-coloured vignette, dedication to Queen Victoria printed in blue, and 25 chromolithographed plates finished by hand, cut round and mounted on thick card, no imprints, each with printed leaf of descriptive text (some spotting mainly affecting borders to plates; slight offsetting onto text), original brown half morocco and blue velvet, lettered in gilt (somewhat worn, leaves detached from gutta-percha binding)
