Comprising a Teapot and two tea Cups, decorated with geometric 'volumes' underlined by red, gold and black lines

Stamped mark in cyrillic K. Malevich, various painted cyrillic facsimile signatures (3)

Lot Essay

The original design was decorated by the Suprematist artist Ilya Chasnik and manufactured by the State Porcelain Factory in 1922/3. A silver version was first manufactured in 1985 by Munari, followed by a limited edition of 50 in ceramic in 1989.
