A MEISSEN CLOCK-CASE AND STAND of moulded with scrolls and pink, turquoise and gilt feuilles-de-choux, the sides applied with a garland of flowers and with a woman on the left and two embracing cherubs on the right, below a dome pierced with chequer-pattern, moulded with forget-me-nots at the intersections and applied with meandering flowers, the finial formed as a vase of flowers, the front, back and sides painted with scattered bouquets, on a similarly modelled and painted footed rectangular stand (chips to flowers, one flower-head detached), blue crossed swords marks, incised 2721/50), circa 1880 26¾in.
