A William and Mary walnut longcase clock, the case with later skirting to the plinth with later boxwood line inlay, similar inlay to the rectantular trunk door with lentical, the rising hood with twist columns to the angles, the 11in.sq. dial signed Henry Harper London on the silvered chapter ring with elaborate pierced steel hands, the matted centre with ringed winding holes, decorated calendar aperture and subsidiary seconds ring, foliate winged cherub spandrels, the five ringed pillar movement with outside countwheel strike on bell and anchor escapement
