Ordinary 4o (176 x 127mm). Collation: A-K4 (A1r title, verso blank, A2r The Prologue, verso blank, A3r text, K4v blank). 40 leaves. Three paper-stock (one unwatermarked). Roman and italic types, 36 lines, headlines and catchwords. Printer's woodcut device, woodcut head-piece, type-ornament head-piece, one woodcut initial. (Minor marginal restoration to title and final leaf, one headline shaved, a few pages slightly soiled.) Brown morocco gilt, by Riviere & Son. Half-leather box. Second edition of a pseudo-Shakespearian play, which was added with others to the Third Folio in 1664. Jaggard printed this edition for his Shakespearian collection of 1619, maintaining the false date for copyright reasons. The original 1600 edition had been printed by Valentine Simmes, also for Pavier. The last copy to appear at auction sold in 1980. STC 18796; Greg 166b.
