An 18th century oak eight day three train longcase clock, the flat hood with moulded arched cornice, the brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, signed William Avenell, Arlesford, subsiduary seconds ring and calander aperture to the foliate engraved centre, silvered moonphase to the arch, on a plain moulded trunk and plinth -- 96¼in. (244.5cm.) high.
