2 parts in one volume, 2° (368 x 241mm.), titles within a wide woodcut border, that of volume I printed in red and black, numerous woodcut illustrations in the text (title of vol. I slightly cut down and partly mounted, tears in first a1 & 2 with slight loss, last few leaves defective with slight loss, top margins cut quite close with a few headlines just affected, some browning and staining), contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards with clasps, cornerpieces and central bosses (rebacked, rather discoloured). Not in BM STC Italian or Adams.
