A CHELSEA MODEL OF A CHINESE PHEASANT
Circa 1751, raised red anchor mark to side of tree stump
Decorated in the London workshop of William Duesbury, the bird with purple body and brightly colored wing and tail feathers perched astride a tall tree-stump applied with colored flowers and foliage and painted with trailing moss
