A CARVED OAK CHEST, ENGLISH, LATE 17TH CENTURY
with a moulded hinged lid and sides extending to feet, the front profusely carved with scrolls and foliage and initialled and dated W S 1685, above a pair of drawers, each carved with three foliate lunettes, with an apron moulding and stile feet -- 49½in. (126cm.) wide, 27in. (68cm.) high, 19½in. (50cm.) deep
