The reeded circular case with loop suspension, pierced rear door, with beaded and engine-turned mask to a silvered dial with Roman chapter ring and vacant signature reserve to an engine-turned centre, blued steel moon hands and arrow alarm hand adjusted from the side, the single barrel movement with verge escapement with three arm balance and engraved bridge, signed on the back plate Julien Le Roy Fils Paris, with pull wind repeat and alarm on two gongs -- 4¼in. (10.5cm.) diameter
