Imperial, attributed to the Palace Workshops, Beijing, 1740-1820
Of flattened, elongated ovoid shape, carved on either side in low relief with two descending confronted kui-dragons framing a shou medallion, the sides carved with stylized leafy fronds surrounding a flowerhead, all below a band of pendent rounded plantain leaves, stopper
