Six Chelsea blue-ground plates
Circa 1760, gold anchor marks
Each painted with exotic birds among trees and shrubs within a central circular cartouche flanked by three similarly painted lobed cartouches joined by shaped gilt trellis panels edged with gilt C-scrolls and with scattered gilt insects on a mottled dark-blue-ground, within shaped gilt dentil rims (some rubbing to gilding and minor rubbing to enamel of wells)
