Circa 1810, crown, crossed batons and D marks in iron-red
Directly copied from one of the plates in the previous lot, with three songbirds perched in a tree (one with star-crack to centre, some very slight rubbing to gilding of wells)

A bill and receipt in the archives at Longleat dated 5th June 1809 and 3rd July 1810, from Duesbury and Kean, Derby China Warehouse, Old Bond Street, London, records: '..two dessert plates with birds in the centre and blue ground, chased in gold, two similar with birds in three compartments...two blue and gold desert plates with birds in the centre...'
