This car was supplied to Lex Mead Ltd. in June 1975 for stock, in Le Mans blue with a magnolia interior and blue carpets. A number of special features were to be incorporated to the specification of the car such as foglamps, white sided tyres, plain sundry glass, fire extinguisher and chrome 'GB' letters to the boot lid to name a few.

Little of the car's history is known, until the car was sent to Japan in the early 1990s. At some stage the car was repainted from its original livery to a dark red, retaining its original interior.

Today the paintwork has some imperfections, with some small areas of cracking to both the rear wings with chips to the drivers side door. Overall the coachwork seems to be corrosion free, except for a minor blister to the passenger front wing. As with the paintwork there are imperfections to the chromework, with light tarnishing to the window trims and a small scrape to the edge of the bumper.

Retaining its original carpets and leather, the interior is in good condition free of tears, with slight colour loss to the driver's seat. At some stage a television has been fitted to the passenger side being slightly angled to driver, not being too much of a distraction while driving!

Due to the length of time the car has been in the collection, Christie's would recommend a full mechanical inspection before the car is used. When ready this Corniche will give the new purchaser rewarding motoring. It is sold with factory build sheets.
