A HONGMU SUGARCANE SQUEEZER, GANZHECHUANG
Qing Dynasty
The base shaped like a sloping bench with splayed legs joined by stretchers, the lower end carved with a channel and spout to collect the pressed juice and an opening for the spatula-shaped lever to connect with the bench, the legs of the lower side extended upwards through the bench in a triangular shape, topped with a finial carved to resemble a bundle of bound sugarcane
