A WELL-CARVED SPINACH-GREEN JADE BOULDER
Qianlong period (1736-1795)
Of thick irregular form, deeply carved on one side with two scholars and an attendant carrying books approaching a pavilion containing a kang set with books, all within a setting of trees and rocky outcroppings, the reverse with two further attendants on a path within a similar setting, the stone of deep, rich green color with fine black speckling
