AN EXQUISITE ART NOUVEAU GLASS, ENAMEL AND BAROQUE PEARL "SALOME" BROOCH, BY RENE LALIQUE
The shield-shaped plaque centering upon a sculpted and carved iridescent greenish-blue glass maiden with flowing draped fabric, backed by a gold panel, within a graduated blue cloisonné and iridescent plique-à-jour enameled twin serpent frame, suspending a baroque pearl, mounted in gold, circa 1904-1905
Signed Lalique for René Lalique
The pearl has not been tested for natural origin
