Relief-moulded with exotic blossoms in the Art Nouveau taste and reserved on a foliate block-printed ground, the mouth with stylized tendrils and pendant swags

Lot Essay

Léon Solon was the son of Louis Solon and the grandson of Léon Arnoux. At Mintons he is recognized in his own right as a leading proponent and designer of Mintons most successful Art Nouveau range, 'Secessionist Ware'.
