THREE EUROPEAN BRONZE AGE SWORDS
LATE 2ND/EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Comprising a bronze sword with leaf-shaped blade and pronounced mid-rib, the pierced hilt with serrated flanges and remaining six rivets, with winged terminal, 22 in. (56 cm.) long; another sword similar, with one rivet remaining, 20 7/8 in. (53 cm.) long; and a bronze sword with long tapering blade (bent in the centre), broad mid-rib, the deep flanged hilt pierced and with one remaining rivet, 30½ in. (77.5 cm.) long (3)
