Rectangular box, the mother-of-pearl cover, baluster sides and base applied with stamped, pierced and embossed gold plaques, that on the lid with Neptune on his chariot drawn by sea-horses, surrounded by shellwork, scrolls and flowers studded with old-mine cut diamonds and rubies, those on the four sides and base depicting buildings in landscapes surrounded by c-scrolls, shells, foliage and flowers, the raised gold mounts and incorporated slightly raised thumbpiece cast with wavy reeding, the inside gold-lined
