A rare flicker photometer,
by ALEX. WRIGHT & CO LTD WESTMINSTER ENGLAND further stamped SIMMANCE PATENT FLICKER PHOTOMETER 955 H, the brass telescope swivelling via a prismatic attachment to the grey enammelled section with two viewing scopes with cross hair sights, mounted on the mahogany casing for the clockwork mechanism with winding key, with a steel mounting pole beneath -- 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) wide; and a mahogany and lacquered-brass optical bench, unsigned, the larger component raised on two turned brass columns with rack and pinion adjustment to the lens, the smaller component with draw tube ajustment to the objective lens with vertical circular stage with sprung clamp -- 25¼in. (64.1cm.) long
