full plate fusee movement with plunge repeat, diamond endstone, bimetallic compensation balance, highly chased balance cock, gold dial with Roman numerals, engine turned centre and multi-coloured border, subsidiary seconds, blued steel moon hands, case with engine turning and a vacant cartouche to the front, cast decoration to the band, pendent and bow, cuvette with engraved inscription, case with London marks for 1827 and case maker's initals FD, movement signed, diameter 54mm.
