GEORGE GERSHWIN SELF PORTRAIT
A charcoal and watercolor on paper self portrait of George Gershwin with his clipped signature affixed to the lower right-side. Originally part of the prestigious art collection of Samuel and Frances Goldwyn, this piece was given by Frances to Benita Hume Colman (herself a gifted pianist) as she and Gershwin were good friends in NYC in the 1930s.
