GREEN PRINTED AND IMPRESSED BAVARIAN SHIELD MARK,

Designed by Dominikus Auliczek between 1792 and 1795 for the Elector Karl Theodor, 'The Pearl Service' takes its name from the beaded band around the rim. Approximately 350 pieces of the original 18th century service are retained in the Residenzmueum, Munich.
