Lot Essay

A native of Boston, Lucy Currier Richards cultivated her artistic style by studying both domestically at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and abroad at Kops, Dresden, Eustritcz, Berlin and Acadèmie Julian, Paris. Her sculptures have been exhibited at the Boston Arts Club, The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Guild Boston Artists.
