The body-tube with sliding dust-cover for the eyepiece, held by a short limb moving up and down the main pillar by means of screw rod adjustment, the eared stage with slots for two stage instruments, the main pillar raised with a scroll support and substage mirror on top of a square mahogany base incoporating a drawer with a brass pull. Accessories include six numbered objectives, and one unnumbered low-power objective, a lieberkuhn in a brass canister, a live box, a sprung slider holder, a frog-plate, six ivory sliders with four cells (all empty) and a stage-mounted condensor, in a flat-topped pyramid-shaped mahogany carrying case with a second drawer
