The above boots were worn by Pele when scoring his 1000th career goal. Pele scored his 1000th goal in a match against Vasco da Gama, played on 19th November 1969 at the Maracana Stadium. The plaque on the sole of the left boot is Pele's locker number that was taken from the dressing room and attached to the sole
