The gilt brass movement with verge escapement and chain fusee, pierced and engraved floral and scroll decoration to the cock and foot, tulip-style pillars, the engraved silver dial with arc-shaped hour display with Roman numerals, corresponding revolving engraved gilt sun indicator for daytime hours and engraved moon indicator for nighttime hours, outer ring with Arabic five minute divisions and corresponding blued steel poker minute hand, the dial is further enhanced with engraved cherubs and outer engraved gilt scroll decoration, all hinged within the plain silver inner case, the silver outer case entirely covered with tortoise shell decoration, applied silver beads to the bezel, the reverse with applied silver beaded floral motif, bordered by applied silver beaded decoration, dial and movement signed
