Round, four hanabishi-mon in kage-sukashi, with a later signature Masanori, Kyo-sukashi type, late 17th century, 3 1/8in. (8cm.); irregular oval, formed as a stylised tsurumaru crane, Higo type, 7.1cm.); round, bamboo and foliage in yo-sukashi, 3 1/16in. (7.8cm.); mokkogata, Yoshinogawa design in yo-sukashi, Bushu Ito school, 2 5/8in. (6.8cm.); and a round tsuba, scrolls and myoga [ginger-plants] in yo-sukashi, traces of gilt nunome, Shoami school, 3 1/16in. (7.8cm.) (5)
