In the Renaissance style, the shells of slightly varying size and each on partly fluted baluster stem and slightly domed spreading circular foot with guilloche border, repoussé and chased with dolphins in strapwork cartouches, with swags of fruit between, on a textured ground, the stem with guilloche and floral borders and applied with grotesque scroll monopodia brackets, the shell straps formed as caryatids and grotesque masks within strapwork panels, the shaped border engraved with floral scrolls, with cast mermaid finial, each marked on foot and upper mount
