Signed on the horizontal circle Stanley, GtTurnstile Holborn London, the telescope with a trough compass mounted on top, rack and pinion focusing to the objective lens and a bubble level mounted beneath, supported on two A-frame supports with a horizontal circle with silvered scale and twin verniers and magnifiers and two clamps, raised over the horizontal circle with bubble level and tangent screw fine adjustment, twin verniers and magnifiers to read off the silvered scale on the chamfered edge, on a tripod mounting with clamp and three adjustable screw feet
