A 15-BORE D.B. FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN

With rebrowned twist barrels signed on the rib, silver fore-sight, scroll engraved patent breeches each with gold line and gold-lined touch-hole, scroll engraved tang, refinished signed scroll engraved locks each with roller, rainproof pan and later 'French' cock, figured walnut half-stock (minor bruising, fore-end with engraved silver plate covering a repair), raised cheek-piece, chequered grip, scroll engraved iron mounts, silver escutcheon, engraved silver rear ramrod-pipe, and brass-mounted ramrod (iron parts with scattered surface pitting), Birmingham proof marks
32 1/8in. (81.6cm.) barrels
