A 22-BORE FLINTLOCK PISTOL
By Carr and Cooper, Birmingham, circa 1815
With rebrowned octagonal barrel with silver fore-sight and engraved 'Birmm' on the top of the breech, scroll engraved tang incorporating the back-sight, signed flat bevelled lock with safety-catch (replaced), raised pan, roller, and stepped tail, walnut full stock (minor bruising) with chequered butt, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, silver escutcheon, and later brass-tipped ramrod, Birmingham proof marks
