A RARE LARGE RED POTTERY JAR AND COVER
Neolithic period, probably Qijia culture, circa 2050-1700 BC
The tall body bulging somewhat before tapering to the flat base, with a pair of simplified animal-head handles applied below the grooved rim, both the side of the conical cover and the side of the mouth rim scored with two parallel lines for alignment
