The head is marked on the base L.N. FOWLER LUDGATE CIRCUS LONDON -- PHRENOLOGY BY L.N. FOWLER. -- ENTERED AT STATIONERS HALL.. The literature incudes: O'Dell, S.E (phrenologist) Heads and How to Read Them A Popular Guide to Phrenology, C.Arthur Pearson Ltd. (London), pp 110, 20 illustrations; a chart entitled Know Thyself, with text and illustrations about phrenology; a personalised chart, "KNOW THYSELF." PHRENOLOGICAL CHART. Of Ottewell James was marked by R.CARR, Phrenologist with handwritten rates of conditions and faculties; and two newspaper cuttings with the obituary of James Ottewell. (6)
