1941
A small black and white 'photo booth' photograph of a fifteen year-old Norma Jeane with her own pencilled 'enhancements' evident including bigger hair, fuller lips and longer eyelashes. A letter of provenance from Eleanor 'Bebe' Goddard (NJ's guardian's [Grace McKee Goddard] step-daughter who lived with her for a short while in the late 1930s) is included and reads in part "...Norma Jeane was not happy with the way the photograph came out and (she) took a pencil and added hair and changed her lips."
