A Continental porcelain model of a recumbent leopard
Late-19th Century, blue star mark to rump, probably Samson
Modelled with its head raised and its paws togther, its tail curled up over its back, its white coat dappled with shaped black spots on its back, head and legs, its head, spine and paws with brown markings (lower part of its rear right leg restored, lower part of rear left leg restuck, slight flaking to black enamel)
