A Meissen trompe l'oeil dish
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords and dot mark
The shaped pierced-bordered dish lavishly applied with fruit and flowers including a pomegranate, a pear, a lemon, strawberries, a tulip, carnations and other flowers and buds, all enamelled in colours (slight damages and losses, crack to base)
9½ in. (24 cm.) diam.
