DALI, Salvador (1904-1989). Uncorrected galley proof sheets for his interview, published in Playboy, July 1964. Together 8 galley sheets, stapled, pencil signature of Murray Fisher in upper corner. With a photocopy of the typed transcript of the interview and a typed note sending the galleys to "Stan."
"In all the arts today, the only good is Dali--but for conception, not for realization. There is no time to realize good paintings..." (Dali in his interview)
ORIGINAL GALLEY SHEETS FOR DALI'S INTERVIEW, INITIAL-SIGNED BY DALI ON EACH SHEET AND WITH SEVERAL CORRECTIONS AND INSERTIONS IN HIS HAND. Dali makes a lengthy emendation in French relating to General Franco. The sheets bear additional editorial corrections, mostly in pencil.
