AN EGYPTIAN FAIENCE VASE
Ptolemaic Period, Circa 3rd-1st Century B.C.
Turquoise green in color, the ovoid body with an off-set foot and tall neck flaring to a thin lip, decorated with a faint foliate pattern on the neck, a band of ten-petal rosettes on the shoulders, and scrolling ivy on the body, the shoulders further adorned with three mold-made Bes-mask appliqués
