Her will bequeaths various items of jewellery with royal provenance to various relations including the present vendor who received the smaller sapphire and diamond brooch, given me when I left Mrs. Crichton and formerly given to her by the late Empress Alexandra of Russia. This brooch is included in the following lot.

comprising: a gold, diamond and cabochon sapphire openwork fan design brooch, the fittings with 56 standard mark and partial maker's mark F*M?, for provenance refer above; and a gold, rose-cut diamond, sapphire and cabochon sapphire miniature egg pendant, with 56 standard mark. (2)
