A TEPE SIALK POTTERY FOOTED BOWL
4TH MILLENNIUM B.C.
Of buff-coloured clay, the brown painted decoration including a frieze of two bulls with long curved horns and long tails with triple wavy strands above geometric frieze, repaired; and an Azerbaijani pottery bird-head rhyton, the dark clay vessel with incised and stippled decoration on the bird's head, early 1st millennium B.C.
7 in. (17.8 cm.) high and 4 in. (10.1 cm.) long respectively (2)

Acquired from German private collections in 1960 and 1972 respectively.
