LOUIS ROEDERER
At this period of Louis Roederer's history one of the great ladies of Champagne was about to start her reign. Although Léon Olry-Roederer was still running the estate at the time of the vintages represented here, at the time of their release and shipment to the cellars of Duke Farms, his wife Camille Olry-Roederer had taken up the reins of the great champagne house.
English Cuvée is believed to have indicated a drier style of champagne (less dosage) than the cuvées that were made at this time to supply the imperial court of the Russian Tsars.
