silvered dial signed and numbered REID & SONS, MAKERS TO THE ADMIRALTY, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, 2004, Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, gold hour, minute and up-and-down hands, blued steel seconds, Earnshaw escapement, bimetallic balance, cylindrical heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring, diamond endstone, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, gimballed brass bowl, brass bound three-tier rosewood box with external brass handles and ivorine retailers plaque for 'B. Cooke & Son', with plush-lined mahogany deck box with leather strap and rating certificates -- 9in. (23cm.) square approx.
