ANDY WARHOL SIGNED 'ANDY WARHOL'S INDEX (BOOK)'
1967
A first edition copy of Warhol's cult book that documented The Factory's social whirl during its heyday circa 1965-1966. Approximately seventy pages, the book consists of black and white photographs of Factory regulars like Edie Sedgewick, Ultra Violet and Gerard Malanga among many others, interviews, pop-ups, fold-out pages (with one that makes a sound like an accordian) and a Velvet Underground 45 'flexi' record featuring an image of Lou Reed on it, among other unique features; the flyleaf is signed in black felt-tip ink "to Jerry/Andy Warhol" as is the 'flexi' record which reads "to Denny/Andy Warhol."
11 x 9 inches
