A reproduction brass cube dial,
based on an instrument signed D. Beringer Dieppe 1725, the cube with five various gnomon sundials (one gnomon missing) tilting with a screw and wing nut atop a square-section column from a pear-shaped brass base plate engraved with the latitudes of seventeen continental cities with an inset glazed compass, screwed to a circular orange marble base (polish residue throughout) -- 25.4cm. (10in.) high
