The naturalistic base signed to the top E. Drouot and with foundry stamp ETLING/PARIS/BRONZE, on a black marble plinth

Lot Essay

Etling cast Drouot's work between 1900 and 1925, although not in great numbers. The Etling foundry also specialised in the production of intricate Art Deco statuettes combining various gilded and patinated metals.
